Day one: Monday or Wednesday or Friday:

Upon arrival at Nan airport - meet and greet and transfer to the city for check in at  a hotel in city center, :  Afternoon activities includes visit to some most outstanding temples. Night market is a must visit and has hundreds of stalls selling food and local souvenirs and handicraft. Overnight in Nan in a 3 stars hotel:

Day two: Tuesday or Thursday  or Saturday:

Following breakfasts at the hotel, enjoy a full day of activities the city has to offer including visits to some local markets, villages and experience “the chicken coop sauna and massage” lunch in a northern Thai style is provided in typical farming atmosphere.  Return in the afternoon, rest of the day at leisure for you to explore the city on your own. Overnight at your hotel.

Day three: Wednesday  or Friday  or Sunday:

Breakfast at hotel, check out and enjoy an overland trip amid farmland, rice fields, you may see farmers at works if you travel coincides with rice  planting or harvest seasons to the Thai - Lao border at Houy Kone with a stop in Pau district, stops are made en route at the various places of interest, lunch is provided in a local restaurant in this district. Thailand Community Based Tourism is involved today.

AFternoon arrival at Houy Kone Thai immigration for passport formality, meet & greet by Lao driver who will take you to the Lao immigration ( please note that you must obtain Lao visa from Lao embassy at your home country or in Bangkok before traveling to Nan and make it clear with the embassy that you are entering Laos at Moung Ngern in Xaiyabuli province ) 

After passport control, drive a distance of 55 kilometers in an hour to Pak Beng, check in at the hotel of your choice in this cozy small village.

Day four: Thursday  or Saturday  or Monday:

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the pier to board the Nagi of Mekong cruise on a one day downstream river trip, stops are made at local villages along the Mekong and Pak Ou cave, freshly cooked lunch  and refreshments are provided on board.

Afternoon arrival in Luang Prabang pier and transfer to your hotel in city center

• One way airfare Bangkok - Nan in economy class with 15 kilos of checked luggage and 7 kilos of hand carry
• Transfer & tours as described on the itinerary with service of English speaking guide (except from Moung Ngern on the Lao side to Pak Beng which is with  service of driver only)
